In fact, just under a decade ago my husband and I had made our minds up to church plant in the Bristol, UK - a up in coming city full of music festivals, art and a lot of people who we could serve with the love of God.

I didn’t always
have thousands
of followers on TikTok + the business I do now.
A month after moving there my husband got into a horrible car accident that left him in a wheelchair for a year with me as his full-time carer. The only place that would rent to us was a funeral home in a valley in Wales next to a cemetery. We joke that we literally lived in the valley of the shadow of death.
Now I educate women in business and ministry how to share their story on social media
to grow their influence and organization!
What happened though was something so unexpected.
After 4 years of church planting in that valley - we felt God call us back to the states. In the midst of some desperate prayers, trying to get back on our feet with two kids and wondering what is the “next step”- I felt God tell me to start posting videos online.
The very first video I posted generated 22 million views and I ended up on the Kelly Clarkson Show! With no experience in content creation, I managed to grow my social media following to 160,000 in one year by doing videos in my car on my lunch break while working a full time job.
One of my favorite quotes is from Billy Graham, “Mountain top experiences are for sights and inspiration but the fruit grows in the valleys.” And so whether you’re on the mountain top or in the valley today in your life, business or ministry - both have purpose in them! And both carry stories, lessons, education and value that needs to be shared with the world!
It lights me up to help women leverage social media as a tool to share the passions, dreams, skills and talents that God has put inside of them. And what’s crazy is you can actually make an impact and income with those all those things right now by leveraging social media!
I always say, if Jesus were alive today, he’d be on social media.
